Cookies and similar storage
A cookie is a small value a site can store in your browser and send back with a request. Local storage and session storage also keep values in your browser, but are accessed by the application. Local storage can persist between visits; session storage is generally limited to the browser tab’s session. These technologies are distinct from the workspace records saved on our servers.
What Bankpage stores in your browser
- Sign-in state
- The workspace’s Supabase authentication client stores session information locally to maintain access and refresh the session. Signing out removes the active local sign-in state.
- Navigation preference
- Local storage remembers whether your workspace sidebar is expanded or collapsed.
- Editing recovery
- Session storage can hold a content-editor draft so the workspace can recover work within the editing session. Save important changes to the workspace before closing it.
- Administrator sessions
- Session storage identifies an administrator’s temporary sign-in-as session. Server-side permissions and expiry still control access.
Public pages and merchant websites
Bankpage’s public marketing pages do not currently include advertising cookies or third-party advertising analytics tags. Links to other services take you to sites with their own storage practices.
Merchant websites created with Bankpage are separate services operated by their merchants. Their storefront can use local storage for a shopping cart and load a configured payment provider during checkout. Read the merchant’s policy and the provider’s notices for that experience.
Your browser controls
You can view or clear site data through your browser’s privacy and site settings. Clearing or blocking storage can sign you out, reset preferences and remove unsaved editing recovery. It does not delete your server-side account or saved workspace records. For shared devices, sign out when you finish and consider clearing site data.
There is no separate advertising-cookie preference panel on the current marketing site. If optional tracking is introduced, this page and any required choice controls will need to reflect that change. For account-data requests, read the Privacy policy or contact us.
