What a generated document represents
Statements, bank letters, bills, agreements, invoices, tax examples, processing histories and certificates generated in Bankpage are documents. Their content is based on entered information and generated values. A provider name, familiar layout, logo, signature field, stamp or reference number does not establish authenticity, endorsement or an actual relationship with the named organization.
Output is not evidence of an account, funds, a transaction, income, a residence, processing history, an executed agreement, a filed tax return, an inspection or a certification. Generating an agreement does not cause another party to accept or sign it. Generating a certificate does not confer certification.
Use documents for preparation and review
Use documents for lawful internal planning, training, design review, testing and discussion of document structure. Before sharing a file, explain its generated document status to every recipient and keep it distinguishable from authentic records. The absence of a visible marking does not change the nature of the output.
Do not present documents as evidence
Do not submit or present a document as an authentic record in a bank, merchant, credit, identity, residency, employment, tax, insurance, regulatory or certification process. Do not use it to mislead a recipient about your business, identity, finances, transactions, approvals or legal rights.
When evidence is required, obtain the original document from the relevant issuer and follow the recipient’s verification process. Bankpage cannot validate or authenticate a generated document on the issuer’s behalf.
Inputs, editing and exports
Use fictional or appropriately minimized information when it meets your purpose. You must have authority to use any real personal, company or third-party information you enter. Review dates, calculations, text and identifiers before relying on a document for a permitted internal purpose.
Editing a template, changing values or exporting a PDF does not convert the result into an issuer-verified record. Template editing changes the source used for future generation; exported PDFs are rendered output. Your use of third-party names and assets remains subject to the rights of their owners.
