  1. Create a key

    Open API Keys, give the key a recognizable name and choose an optional expiry. Store the returned secret securely; it is displayed only once.

  2. Read the endpoint guide

    Open API Guides or retrieve /v1/public/api-guide.md. Filter by path and method to inspect the accepted inputs and expected responses for the operation.

  3. Authenticate the request

    Use the base URL https://bankpage.io/v1 with Authorization: Bearer followed by the key. The operation runs with the owner’s permissions and account scope.

  4. Follow long-running work

    Use the documented request key for supported operations and follow status, events or activity. Confirm the resulting resource and readiness state before reporting completion.

  5. Maintain access

    Use separate keys for separate agents where useful. Rename keys for clarity and revoke access when an integration is no longer needed.
